Father, 2 sons are in a train collision with an auto-rickshaw in Brahmanbaria
Two sons and a 75-year-old man were killed when a train struck a CNG-run autorickshaw in Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria. Sadek Miah, his sons Rubel (32) & Pavel (23) of Rajghar village, Sadar upazila are the deceased. According to Sub-inspector Salauddin Khan of Brahmanbaria Railway Police Outpost, the accident occurred at Talshahar at 4.45am. The three were travelling to Dhaka in the auto-rickshaw for Sadek’s eye treatment. CNG driver Shiru Miah also suffered injuries in the accident. He was taken to Brahmanbaria General Hospital, where doctors referred him for more treatment. Dharmajit Sinha (sub-inspector at Ashuganj Police Station) stated that a train called Dhaka Mail, which was coming from Chattogram, struck the three-wheeler at Talshahar railway cross.
